EVANSTON COMMUNITY PROFILE
Fall 2021
For a planning skills class, I prepared a Community Profile for Evanston, Illinois. The excerpted visualizations at right describe the demographic and housing conditions and trends in the city, and are used to inform potential policy and program interventions. Other chapters in the Community Profile cover topics such as land use, population projections, and economic analysis, and draw on sources such as the American Community Survey, Comprehensive Housing Affordability Strategy (CHAS) data, the Economic Census, and UrbanFootprint.
