PERSONAL BUSINESS CARD DESIGN
Fall 2022
For a visualization and design course, I designed a personal business card. The front of the card features a familiar form of Chicago vernacular architecture -- the two-flat greystone -- rendered and colorized in the style of a WPA National Parks Poster. Cities, like national parks, are an important public asset that must be preserved and invested in for the benefit of present and future generations.
The back of the business card continues the WPA poster motif and is inspired by one of my long-time hobbies: sending postcards. The design intends to spark curiosity in the holder (Can you actually send something this small through the mail?) Why not support another one of my favorite public institutions -- the USPS -- and give it a try? The stamp outline is drawn to scale ☺
